Studio 13B, Jalan Bahar Clay Studios
Creativity, art and nature are just a few of the things she is passionate about. As a self-educated artist she has learned over time that when you set your mind to create something, it is possible.
Under the influences of her husband, Mr. Toh Kiam Hock and other artists, her stay at Jalan Bahar Clay Studios has encouraged and motivated her to dive deeper into the world of pottery.
No futuristic concrete building, advanced facilities but just simply the sound of nature, green patches and breeze of fresh air surrounding the Kiln. In her golden years, this is one of the best things that have happen to her.
The focus of her art work is on creating teapots using the coiling method. She enjoys the challenge of creating new generation teapots and incorporating the traditional concept.
Her artworks also include cups, plates and slab work to create tree trunk stands for her teapots.
